Recycled scrap comprises this permanent outdoor display in the No Ho Art District. Permanently mounted on a building at Vineland and Chandler, it's part of the nearby Metro station's motif. Made on a grant from CRA. The fragility of the butterfly contrasts with the weight and mass of its component parts, as the efficiency of a mass transit system rises to replace inefficient individual transportation. |
